Learning How To Make Pasta In Italy

Ever wanted to go to cooking school in Italy and learn the Italian tradition of hand making pasta? We did just that during Blogville Emilia-Romagna at the Casa Artusi Cooking School just outside of Bologna.

The apartment in Bologna was provided by the Emilia-Romagna Tourism Board as part of the #BlogVille campaign created by iAmbassador. As always, my thoughts, opinions and enthusiasm for travel and food are entirely my own.

I just made pasta for the first time last evening. It was tough but so much fun! Have you ever made pasta without a pasta machine? I think I have gained two pound of muscle from trying to flatten it. Orrrr maybe it’s the 2 pounds of pasta I ate. Thanks for sharing!

Oh how I love pasta! What a treat to make it in Italy. Where they able to cook and eat it after they made it?
I agree that food is a language of its own so who needs to speak the language as long as you can watch the hands! Oh…so hungry now! Thanks for posting the video!

Oh this brings back memories, although I don’t remember that little jig at the end! (That is so not a good look for me). Such a wonderful week we shared with you 🙂
