Your Summer Camp Dreams, All Grown Up
When was the last time you felt that butterflies-in-your-stomach excitement of summer? That magical feeling of knowing amazing adventures and lifelong friendships await? Your soul is calling for a break – one filled with fireside chats that last until the stars come out, belly laughs that make your cheeks hurt, and the kind of connections that fill your cup for months to come.
Welcome to Sip + Savor Summer Camp, where we’ve reimagined those treasured summer camp moments for women who appreciate a good Pinot Noir with their s’mores. Here in the breathtaking Willamette Valley, every day brings the perfect blend of nostalgic camp vibes and grown-up pleasures: sunrise yoga in vineyards, creative workshops that spark joy, nature hikes that feed your soul, and wine tastings that remind you that the best memories are made when we give ourselves permission to play.
This isn’t just a retreat – it’s five days of rediscovering what makes your heart sing, all while surrounded by some of Oregon’s most stunning views and kindred spirits who get exactly what you need right now.
Why We Chose the Willamette Valley
Trust me, once you experience the magic of the Willamette Valley, you’ll understand why we fell head over heels for this place. Tucked between majestic mountain ranges, this dreamy corner of Oregon feels like you’ve stepped into the French countryside – no passport required! With rolling hills draped in vineyards, purple waves of lavender fields, and hidden olive groves, it’s giving major Provence vibes (but more casual and way closer to home). And just wait until you taste the Pinot Noir – it rivals some of the finest wines in the world (yes, we’ll be tasting plenty!). We’ve discovered some incredible hidden gems here that’ll make you forget you’re still stateside, and we can’t wait to share them with you.
Your Day-by-Day Adventure
Day 1: Welcome to Oregon!
Ready for the best summer camp ever? We’ll welcome you in Portland and kick things off with a welcome happy hour and “summer camp orientation” that’ll make your taste buds dance. It’s the perfect chance to meet your fellow adventurers – and trust us, by the end of the week, these ladies will feel like lifelong friends.

- Meet your fellow travelers and hosts
- Evening relaxation and retreat orientation
Day 2: Tea, Lavender, and Wine (Oh My!)
We’re starting your morning with something special: a visit to one of the world’s leading tea makers located right in the heart of Portland, where local tea artisans are basically wizards with tea leaves. Then, we’re heading to the Dundee Hills in Willamette Valley where you’ll get to pick lavender and enjoy a picture-perfect picnic lunch (hello, perfect Instagram moment!). If that’s not swoon-worthy enough, after lunch you’ll enjoy an intimate wine tasting with an actual winemaker. The day ends at your dreamy private “boutique cottage” – your home away from home for the next few days.
- Morning visit to a renowned local tea artisan shop and facility for an exclusive tasting experience
- Journey into the heart of Willamette Valley
- Lavender field experience
- Afternoon wine tasting led by one of Oregon’s most esteemed winemakers at a winery named by Wine Enthusiast as “One of the top Pinot Noir producers in the United States.”
- Check-in to your private luxury boutique cottage
- Evening at leisure in your personal retreat space and free time to explore the charming town where we’ll be staying
Day 3: Vineyard Adventures
Ever done yoga in a vineyard? Today’s your day! We’ll follow that up with a bucket-list hike through America’s oldest Chardonnay vineyard (with plenty of photo ops), leading to a lunch that feels like it’s straight out of a magazine. Because you deserve it all!
- Sunrise yoga among the vines
- Historic hike through America’s oldest Chardonnay vineyard
- Exclusive lunch at a hidden vineyard cabin
- Free time for reflection or relaxation
- Evening free to enjoy your private courtyard
Day 4: Wellness + Wine
Morning yoga to start your day right? Check. Creative time with new friends? Absolutely. We’ll wander through ancient olive groves for a tasting that’ll transport you straight to Italy, take a gorgeous nature walk, and yes – more amazing wine. We’ll cap it all off with a farewell dinner that you’ll be dreaming about for months.
- Start your day with morning yoga

Meet Your Camp Counselors (The Grown-Up Version!)
Rachelle Lucas: If you’ve ever dreamed of having a friend who knows all the best spots, secret viewpoints, and hidden gem restaurants – that’s Rachelle! She’s been uncovering the world’s most delicious corners as a food and travel writer and TV host since 2007 (yes, she has the dream job we all wished for!). When she’s not being featured in People Magazine, Food + Wine, or USA Today (casual, right?), she’s showing off her culinary skills as the brand ambassador for Ninja Kitchen on HSN and QVC. And talk about living the dream – she once flew around the world by private jet in 22 days for the Four Seasons (we’re still pinching ourselves about that one!). But what really gives her that special hosting magic? She actually owned and ran a bed & breakfast, so she knows exactly how to make guests feel wonderfully pampered and right at home. Now, instead of just writing about amazing destinations, she’s excited to share her favorite spots with you in person – think of her as your personal guide to experiencing a place the way travel writers do, complete with insider tips she’s gathered from years of professional wanderlusting!
Christina Thomas: Meet your cheerleader-in-chief and insider guide to all things Oregon! Born and raised in Portland, Christina speaks fluent Willamette Valley – and by that, we mean she knows every hidden wine trail and local-favorite spot in the region. Travel planning is practically in her blood (she’s been organizing events and trips since her teen years working in her mom’s tour & travel agency!), and with over two decades of making hospitality magic happen for big names like Rosen Hotels + Resorts and Planet Hollywood, she’s now brought her expertise back home to create something truly special. Every detail of this retreat has been lovingly curated through her local lens to give you those can’t-find-on-Google, exclusive experiences. When she’s not crafting perfect itineraries, she’s pursuing her passions as a food & travel enthusiast (and unofficially as an ice cream connoisseur and chocolate expert – someone’s got to do it!). Her life motto? “Make someday happen” – because why wait to enjoy life’s sweetest moments? When you meet her, you’ll understand why we call her our eternal optimist – her joy for life and love for her hometown are absolutely contagious!
Your Private Slice of Paradise
Let’s talk about where you’ll be staying, because these aren’t your average “cabins”. Think luxury tiny home meets boutique hotel suite, complete with everything you need to feel pampered. First and foremost, you’ll find a plush comfy bed with luxurious high thread count linens sure to welcome a great night’s sleep. You’ll have your own kitchenette (perfect for that morning coffee ritual), a private courtyard where we’ll meet for yoga, and a luxury fire pit for evening s’mores and fireside chats. Plus, there’s a gorgeous communal bungalow for when you want to connect with your new friends.
Sleeping Arrangements
No bunk beds at this camp! We think our campers will enjoy having their own private cottage (because who doesn’t love having a space to decompress?). But if you’re coming with your bestie and prefer to split the cost, we have two larger cottages available if you don’t mind sharing a bed! (Because of limited availability, these two will book fast!)
Safety First, Always
Your wellbeing is everything to us – and we mean everything. We’ve carefully vetted every single activity and partner to ensure you’re in the best hands. Our team is first-aid certified, and we know all the local medical facilities (though we doubt you’ll need them!).
We believe that everyone deserves to feel completely at ease while having the time of their life. That’s why we’ve created a welcoming space that celebrates all women, regardless of age, background, fitness level, or wine expertise. Whether you’re a seasoned yogi or touching your toes seems like a distant dream, whether you’re a wine connoisseur or just starting to explore what you like – you belong here. All activities can be modified to match your comfort level, and we’re here to support your journey, whatever that looks like for you.
We’ve got you covered in every way, and we mean it when we say this is a judgment-free zone where you can truly be yourself.
