I have waited entirely too long to post this. As I read my notes for German travel tips and edit photos this week from my trip to Germany this past spring, I confess, I’m drooling all over my computer. I mean, just look at these! I found myself thumbing through my iPhone menu photos and notes to find out exactly what they are and where I ordered them so that I’d have definitive proof that Germany offers much more than good sausage and beer. So, here you go. Before you scroll through these, you might want to have a napkin ready to wipe the drool from your chin. And you better make reservations for a nice dinner out tonight to appease your grumbling tummy.

I love reading these posts that make me drool before I’ve even had breakfast. Yum!!! I especially drooled over the Brie and Pear sandwich and cup of coffee from The Barn. The table was super cool, great pic.

Mmmmm! I just spent a few weeks in Germany this month and while I also found the food to be fantastic I now regret not coming across a lot of the insanely delicious looking dishes you’ve posted here. What surprised me most about food in Germany (which you’ve captured here) was their desserts and baked goods. The bakeries there just blew us away and I’d even go as far as to say was often better than in France!
